I wanted to take a few minutes to write about this year’s Sunday “Finals Day” schedule and explain why it is so odd. We are doing a lot of unique things at UFGT8, and these things have been very popular in the past. Mystery Game Tournament and our Raffles broke up last year’s Finals Day, but left time for only Top 3s and Top 4s in most games to be played on stream.
This year, we are fortunate enough to have two streams (one by Level|Up, the other by Focus Fire). As a result, I’ve decide to maintain the same pace of the Sunday-show that you enjoyed last year on the Level|Up stream by showing the top 4 in each of the 8 main games. If you want to see the full top 8, however, all you need to do is tune into the Focus Fire stream as scheduled below to see 8 players fight until only 4 remain. At that time, the remaining four players will move over to the Level|Up stream to finish the tournament.
This may seem confusing at first, but you can easily head over to the www.leveluplive.tv website to conveniently view both streams simultaneously. We know this is a little different from what you are used to, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we try this format out. Remember, just tune into the Focus Fire stream to see your favorite game’s top 8 start, and then follow it over to the Level|Up stream when it transfers over. Please enjoy the show.
